EVERY CHILD MATTERS
The K-4 students participated in an art project for Orange Shirt Day. Each student chose words to finish this sentence: I matter because I am _______. Some of the words they picked were: thoughtful, awesome, helpful, kind, smart, etc. The project is displayed in our hallway and it is an important reminder that Every Child Matters.

Orange Shirt Day - Thursday, September 29th
On Thursday, September 29th we are encouraging everyone to wear orange to raise awareness and show support for communities affected by the impact of residential schools.
