Emma's Seedling Experiment
Emma started a seedling experiment in February by testing different seeds from fruit and vegetables by wrapping them in a damp paper towel and placing them in a ziplock bag to encourage them to sprout. She moved them to dirt after a month (March 13) and planted other herbs to see how quickly they would take. Her experiment included seeds from a cantaloupe (7/10 sprouted), grapefruit (0/10 sprouted), tomatoes (10/10 sprouted) and peppers (10/10) sprouted.

Morning Message - Day 2
Some students said they would rather be a meerkat because they are fast. Jase said he would rather be a warthog because they are strong. Dominic would also rather be a warthog. :)

Assiniboine Park Zoo - Meerkat Monday
The Assiniboine Park Zoo is bringing the Zoo to us. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 1:00 pm they will feature a Live Creature on Facebook. On Monday, March 23rd the first Creature Feature will be meerkats and learning about animal enrichment. Here in the link:
