FUN IN THE SUN!

Grade 1/2 Field Trip

We went to the Manitoba Museum and the Science Gallery. I liked when we went into the mirrors and we kept slipping in there. I went into the space rocket and sat on a dolly and pushed it around. We went into the snake pit. We saw wolves and felt the fox fur. I'm glad I went. - Raydence


We went to the museum on a bus. The bus ride was good and I fell asleep. I liked the Nonsuch at the Manitoba Museum. I liked building a car at the Science Gallery. I got to race my car. We saw fossils, a polar bear, buffalo, and a whale. It was a good day and I had fun! - Carmen


The fox fur was cool. The buffalo fur was cool and the bear fur was cool too. I liked going into the cave. We saw a tee pee. I wish we could have gone into it, but we aren't allowed. I liked the theater and the Science Gallery. I wish we could have stayed in there longer. I liked going on the space pull. I liked the Nonsuch because it was huge! I liked going in the houses and into the sea. We learned about the Aboriginals and how they hunted for buffalo and beavers. I had a great time! - Zach

A Visit with Braiden!

Happy Earth Day!

We baked earth day cupcakes. We put eggs, cake mix, oil and water in the bowl. We put food colouring into the two bowls. They were blue and green. When the cupcakes were done we ate them. They were good. We need to clean up the earth. We had lots of fun. - Cara-Lyn


It was fun to bake cupcakes. We cracked the eggs and put it in the bowl. We put the mix in cupcake holders. We put them in the oven and then ate them. We can pick up garbage and plant more trees. - Santana

Growing Plants

         

My plant is 31cm. It is really tall. I used water and sun. I started with dirt. I put in a lima bean in soil. My plant is really big. We put a plant in the cupboard. It did grow. - Ethan

I put a seed in the dirt. We fed it water. Put dirt on top of it. It grew. Our plants are very healthy. The plant in the cupboard was not healthy. It was tall, but had no sun. The plant without water and sun didn't grow. We had a good day enjoying our plants.- Lucas

Designing A House

I used plasticine and paper plates to make my house for the pigs. We tested our houses to see if they would stand up. We used a blow dryer. The houses stayed standing. Carmen's roof blew off her house. - Kessandra

I used plasticine and made an igloo. It did not blow down. I liked my igloo. - Graham
