We painted our background blue and then used cardboard to cut

out our trees. We painted the trees green and then made circles from

a variety of colours. We cut out different sized circles and layered

and glued them onto our trees. Then we glued the trees onto our background.

It was a lot of fun and the artwork looks great!

Day 15 - December 19th

 

The plant grew 7 cm. It is now 12 cm tall!

Day 9 - Amaryllis Plant

Our plant grew 3 cm. It is now 5 cm tall.

amaryllis bulb.

It is 2 cm tall.

Design Process Using Magnets

In our magnet unit students needed to design either a boat or sled that moved using magnetism. The boat had to be able to move around a pool of water and hold 10 marbles. The sled had to be able to move up and down a ramp and hold a small toy person. Here are the results.
