Merry Christmas!

Celebrating 50s Day!

The grade 1/2 classes celebrated the 50th day of school with a 50s Day! Some of the activities they did were: 50 days smarter, using 50 pieces of lego, dance off to 50s music, making root beer floats, using hula hoops and so much more. Thank you to everyone that helped out to make this such a fun day! :)

Halloween Fun!

Carving pumpkins is fun. We dug out the seeds and the goop. Then we carved the pumpkins and put a candle inside. - Carson

We had a fun party. We watched the Pete the Cat story. People handed out treats. We took a picture outside with our costumes on. In gym we made healthy snacks. - Maya

We had to smoosh the butter and margarine together. We had to add flour and an egg. We patted the dough down and we cut it into pumpkins, cats and bats. Then we baked the cookies and ate them. That was the best part. - Lucy

Formal Day

Happy Halloween!

Terry Fox Run

Although it was a very cold and windy day, the K-6 students and community ran or walked for the Terry Fox Foundation. We raised $2400! We would like to thank everyone that supported this great cause.

Orange Shirt Day

Orange Shirt Day is an annual event held on September 30th to honour the survivors of the Residential School System in Canada and their families. The symbolic orange shirt came from Phyllis' story of being given a new orange shirt to wear on her first day of school. Her shirt was taken away from her upon arriving at school and never returned.
