Orange Shirt Day - Wednesday, September 30th

On Wednesday, September 30th Morris School is encouraging our students to support Orange Shirt Day to honour the indigenous children who were sent to residential schools in Canada and learn more about the history of those schools.

Can you guess the self-portrait?

We had to fold our paper and we drew our mask portrait on one part of the paper and our face on another part of the paper. Then we had to write positive words about ourselves. It was really fun and also challenging. - Kase

We had to draw our eyes, a mouth and our face. We wrote words like kind, funny, awesome, and thoughtful. We also drew our hair, ears and eyelashes. I really liked it. - Elijah
