Orange Shirt Day

EVERY CHILD MATTERS

On September 30th we participated in Orange Shirt Day. It originates from the story of Phyllis Webstad when her shiny new orange shirt was stripped from her, never to be seen again. We recognize and honour the 150 000 children that survived the residential school system. The Canadian government designated September 30th National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, beginning in 2021.

Welcome Back! School Resumes September 8th!

I am very excited to get back to school and see all of you! Although the school year will continue to look different, we will enjoy many fun activities and make new friends. We will work together to make this a great year. :)

Remember we need to stay 6 feet apart from each other.

Masks are mandatory for all grades.

Everyone is required to bring their own water bottle to school. Students will be able to refill their bottle at school from the water bottle station. Drinking fountains will not be available.
