AGRICULTURE ON WHEELS

 

Nutrien Ltd. is teaching the next generation about growing healthy plants and where food comes from through Seed Survivor. In partnership with Agriculture in the Classroom - Manitoba, Nutrien’s Seed Survivor display visited our school.  

Seed Survivor is a free, curriculum-based learning experience that encourages children to understand what makes plants grow. The Agriculture on Wheels classroom provided students an opportunity to compete as virtual farmers, dig for real fossils (and learn how they relate to agriculture), and even plant a sunflower seed to take home and grow.

Earth Day!

Thank you to everyone that helped with the town cleanup today!! A lot of garbage was cleaned up and the community looks so much better!! Thanks for taking care of the Earth!

During the week of April 30th to May 6th, Canadian authors, illustrators and storytellers were visiting schools, libraries, community centers, and bookstores across Canada. On May 1st, author Linda Trinh visited the Morris Public Library and our class was selected to meet her!!! 

We want to thank the Morris Library for inviting us to meet Linda and listen to her read from her books. We had a great time!!
