Carefully observe the picture talking out loud all the things you see and think. Things you see are objects in the picture. Things you think are inferences, statements based on the images, but statements that you wouldn't know for certain unless you were actually there. Make a T-chart. Label the left column "Observations" and the right column "Inferences".
